Free Spirit is a Tarot themed retail space and bar that specialises in non-alcoholic spirits with a concept of 'Cosmic Clarity'. 

 

The space is aimed at Millennials as they are the most affected age group of the Sober Curious Movement. The Sober Curious are a community of people who want to reduce their alcohol intake for physical and mental health reasons.

 

This project is located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester due to the Temperance Movement and in the 1830s there were Temperance houses (non-alcoholic establishments) there. It is a place that appeals to younger generations like Millennials as it is a trendy area with many independent and unique businesses which I believe would be the right environment for Free Spirit.
